Who we are
About THRON
THRON helps companies choose and buy chemical raw materials: it compares suppliers, performance, cost and supply conditions, and follows the negotiation through to the purchase order.
THRON represents manufacturers and acts as an intermediary in the sale. It does not buy or resell in its own name and holds no stock of its own: where local supply is available, the stock belongs to the partner. Our role is to compare the alternatives, lead the negotiation and follow up on the order, without replacing your purchasing team.
Chemical markets do not fail for lack of supply. They fail because the market reading is incomplete.
Why THRON exists
In practice, many decisions are still made based on:
- ›A single price point
- ›Long-standing relationships that have not been reassessed
- ›Market windows that are misread
- ›Limited comparison between routes and origins
THRON exists to reduce market reading errors, clarify actual costs and enable more rational decisions amid high volatility and structural complexity.
How THRON operates
What THRON does, from first contact to purchase order:
- ›Technical and economic comparison of alternatives: specification, application and cost
- ›Access to different suppliers and origins, with THRON leading the commercial process
- ›Follow-up of the negotiation and its execution: documents, terms and communication between the parties
- ›Choice between local supply and scheduled imports, when both are available for the product
- ›Market reading to support the purchasing decision, with no promise about future prices
Our model prioritizes comparability, control and flexibility, allowing continuous adaptation as the market evolves.
We work with raw materials for sanitizing products, cosmetics and hygiene, and agriculture, mainly surfactants and formulation aids. In sanitizing products, we maintain a strategic partnership with LEVACO.
Decision principles
Rules that apply to every THRON recommendation.
The decision is yours
We recommend on solid grounds. The final decision always rests with the client.
Market reading is not forecasting
Market reading supports the decision. It is not a guarantee of future prices.
Route diversification without dependence
Expanding options requires control, not fragmentation.
Confidentiality between partners
What one supplier entrusts to us is not used to compare against another source.
